- We show prices as ranges, not single numbers, because the real price depends on the dentist, the city, the materials and your plan.
- Each cost page says which sources it uses and when it was last checked.
- Health information links to peer-reviewed research or to public health and dental association sources.
Who writes our pages
Gum Theory is an independent editorial project founded and edited by Lorenzo Beux, a market research and SEO consultant. He is not a dentist, and Gum Theory does not give medical or dental advice. When a page explains a condition, we tell you when it is time to see a dentist.
